Digiuni: Digital University - an open Ukrainian initiative

The goal of this project is to create an open digital educational environment for Ukrainian universities. This initiative is a response to the challenges caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation and the subsequent damage inflicted on Ukraine's higher education system. The project emphasizes the importance of digitalization for the continuity and success of educational institutions in Ukraine. It aims to leverage the experience of European universities in developing integrated digital solutions and to foster cooperation between Ukrainian and European partners. A consortium of Ukrainian and European universities is ready to share expertise to support and develop an open digital educational environment for Ukrainian universities. The DigiUni project proposes to initiate the process of creating a fully integrated, sustainable, enriching, inclusive, and high-performance digital educational ecosystem in Ukraine.

dComFra: Digital competence framework for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens

GameHub: University-enterprises cooperation in game industry in Ukraine

The main goal of the GameHub project is to ensure the employment and self-sufficiency of university and college graduates, unemployed engineers, as well as ATO veterans in Ukraine, by offering them a set of knowledge and skills in demand in the digital gaming industry. Project results: competence profiles of employees at all professional levels of the digital gaming market; training of 180 higher education institution teachers, 500 students, and 150 unemployed persons (including ATO veterans) to improve their qualifications and competence; GameHub structure and facilities in each Ukrainian partner university; newly created game laboratories and 18 training modules providing open and innovative educational resources for new subjects that will modernize Ukrainian engineering education; International Game Design Conference organized by the consortium in Ukraine; increasing the relevance of university curricula to the Ukrainian labor market.

iCo-Op: Industrial Cooperation and Creative Engineering Education Based on Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation

The goal of the project is to strengthen university-enterprise partnerships in Armenia, Georgia, and Ukraine by modernizing engineering education based on remote engineering and virtual instrumentation, enhanced by transversal knowledge and competencies in universities, and offering modern methods of vocational education and internships at enterprises. Within the framework of the project, an analysis of the labor market needs of the three countries was conducted, a curriculum was developed, and an interactive learning environment with relevant modules and manuals was created. Remote laboratories were organized in universities, and a system for training teachers and specialists was implemented, including training sessions, summer schools, and professional development. The project involved the pilot implementation of engineering education, the establishment of international cooperation between universities and enterprises, and ensuring the sustainability of results through quality monitoring and evaluation of all stages of the educational process.

ECDL4UA: ECDL for Ukrainian Administrators

Project No: 530278-TEMPUS-2012-DE-TEMPUS-JPHES
The goal of the project was to implement training according to ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) standards in local state administrations of the Kherson region. Within the framework of the implemented project, requirements for the ICT competencies of civil servants were defined based on ECDL standards, a retraining program was developed and approved, a technical infrastructure was created using the resources of higher education institutions and training centers, and a certified Test Center was opened. As a result, 250 civil servants underwent training, and the created infrastructure ensures further training and testing for citizens of the Kherson region, which guarantees the sustainability of the project's achievements. The training infrastructure for civil servants in the field of information and telecommunication technologies based on the European experience of implementing the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) covers defined requirements for knowledge and skills in the field of ICT (recognized by state and local authorities), updated training programs implemented by specialists of higher education institutions, as well as testing in a certified and authorized Test Center.
