UAFIT activities — Українська асоціація фахівців інформаційних технологій

Main objectives of the association:

Increasing information literacy of the population: engaging the public in acquiring knowledge and skills in the field of modern information technologies in accordance with international standards.

Informing about development issues: bringing to the public's attention current issues and challenges in the development of the information society in Ukraine.

Facilitating IT implementation: assistance in the implementation of information and communication technologies in Ukraine, conducting scientific research, ensuring access to national and global information resources.

Development of human resources potential: facilitating the development of personnel in educational and scientific institutions, as well as the professional development and retraining of specialists in the field of information technology.

Support for Ukrainian production: promoting the development of high-tech product manufacturing and competitive computer programs, as well as the development, implementation, and legalization of software.

Event organization: participation in the organization and conduct of conferences, forums, sessions, seminars, and reports.

Creation of norms and standards: facilitation of and participation in the development of state norms, standards, methodologies, and systems for assessing knowledge and skills in the field of information technology.

International cooperation: support of international relations with governmental, scientific, educational, and public organizations of other countries for the development of information technologies and computer science.

Project support provision: organizational, methodological, scientific, and information-technical support for programs of various levels in the field of computer science, conducting expert reviews and competitions for innovative projects in the sphere of information and communication technologies and computer science.

Implementation of the latest technology: facilitating the integration of modern computer hardware and equipment.

Support for Scientific Research in Information Technology

Creation of a database of Ukrainian scientists and specialists in the field of information technology and computer science, with subsequent informing of the global professional community about its creation and ensuring access to it.

Participation in domestic and international scientific and research projects and programs.

Creating your own professional publications.

Providing opportunities for professional communication, in particular using web technologies (meetings, round tables, conferences, seminars, including those with the participation of foreign members).

Organization of the publication of research results in Ukrainian and international professional journals.

Providing assistance in job searching and promoting professional growth.

Support for the development of the applied direction in the field of information technology

In recent years, Ukraine has continued to demonstrate significant resilience and capability in the field of IT outsourcing. Our country possesses great scientific potential and has outstanding educational institutions with a rich history and traditions of training high-class specialists in the field of information technology. The Ukrainian technical mindset meets European standards, which, combined with high growth rates in software development service exports, confirms our competitiveness.

UAITP Achievements

The Ukrainian IT Professionals Association is a community of like-minded people working on the development of Ukraine's information technology industry. The Association has made a significant contribution to the implementation of policies for the development of digital competencies for citizens and specific professional groups.

Participation in the development of national digital competence frameworks for citizens, educators, healthcare professionals, civil servants, and entrepreneurs.

UAITF took direct part in the development of national digital competence frameworks for citizens, pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical staff, healthcare professionals, civil servants, and entrepreneurs.

Digitalgram 2.0

National Digital Literacy Test from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The content of Tsyfrogram 1.0 received a large number of comments and remarks from the expert community, including experts from the UAIT team. The content of Tsyfrogram 2.0 and 2.1 was edited by experts from the UAIT team. Tsyfrogram is presented on the national Diia platform. Digital Education https://osvita.diia.gov.ua

E-Citizen "Ukrainian Digital Citizen" by ICDL

Creation of an adapted version of the e-Citizen certification test "Ukrainian Digital Citizen" from ICDL.

A separate section for the test, which corresponds to the international ICDL standard - Ukrainian Digital Citizen, has been created in Diia.Digital Education.

Participation in the development of the "Concept of Digital Transformation of Education and Science" project

A group of experts from the UAITF team took an active part in the development of the "Concept of Digital Transformation of Education and Science" project.
