Ukraine has received almost two thousand Erasmus+ grants

200 Ukrainian organizations, together with more than 270 European partners, have received 2,766 grants for student and university staff exchanges. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science.

Within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program, all participants will be able to go for studies, practical training, professional development, or internships at a European or Ukrainian university.

Out of the total number of funded places, 1,142 grants are intended for students, and 1,624 for university staff.

In total, the exchange will take place in the following proportions:

  • 839 grants for Ukrainian students to study, 303 for European ones;
  • 931 grants for internships or training for Ukrainian university staff, 693 for European ones.

Based on the results of student exchanges, all credits earned will be recognized by the Ukrainian university and included in the diploma supplement. For lecturers, this experience will be counted as professional development.

The winners from Ukraine include higher education institutions, research institutions, and public, private, and state organizations from various regions of the country. Among them, the highest number of mobility projects were won by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Lviv Polytechnic National University, the Ukrainian Catholic University, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

The list of winners also includes relocated universities.

The most popular partner countries for exchanges with Ukraine were Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Italy, and France.
