During the training, Mariia Yarosh spoke about competencies and their importance in the effective organization of the educational process in higher education institutions – compliance with European quality criteria for education is the most important thesis in the development of modern Ukrainian higher education. The correct construction of a student's educational profile is based on the right choice of competencies – this will allow them to find a decent job in the relevant field after graduation. The lecturers were invited to determine the difficulty levels of their disciplines, consider the position of the subject matter of the disciplines in relation to other courses taught in a specific field of study, and analyze how to establish feedback with students to help them achieve the required level of competence.

Olha Dziabenko spoke about the life cycle, main characteristics of a game, and general principles of game design. To consolidate the material, all participants were divided into groups consisting of lecturers from different universities. Each group developed and presented a game.

The lecturers were invited to play another team's game in order to evaluate the quality of the game, the thoughtfulness of the plot, and determine the game's suitability for a certain age category.

After that, the advantages and disadvantages of each game were discussed in a debate format.

The trainings took place in an interesting and relaxed atmosphere. Representatives of all universities communicated freely, sharing their impressions and thoughts regarding the knowledge gained.
