In April 2017, the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (based at the GameLab laboratory of the Information and Computing Center) hosted a series of local trainings organized for university staff as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 "GameHub" project. The goal of the trainings was to introduce lecturers to the theoretical and practical aspects of creating computer games and their use in pedagogical activities, which aligns with modern trends in global educational practice.
The trainings sparked significant interest among lecturers from the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Automation and Information Technologies. The training participants also showed interest in the progress of the implementation and promotion of the "GameHub" project, as well as its prospects for the university and the country.
The "Computer Game Marketing" training took place on April 14-15, 2017. Trainers: O. Kuchanskyi (Dept. of Cybersecurity and Computer Engineering), A. Biloshchytskyi (Dept. of Information Technologies).
The "Game-Based Learning" training took place on April 18-19, 2017. Trainers: Ye. Shabala (Dept. of Cybersecurity and Computer Engineering), O. Terentiev (Dept. of Information Technologies of Design and Applied Mathematics).
The "Game Content Creativization and Promotion" training took place on April 20-21, 2017. Trainers: T. Honcharenko (Dept. of Information Technologies), A. Dubnytska (Information and Computing Center).
The "Computer Game Development in Unity3D" training took place on April 24-25, 2017. Trainers: D. Bezmohorychnyi and S. Pyda (Information and Computing Center).
