Training "Application of computer games in the educational process", KNTU, June 7-9, 2017.

From June 7 to 9, 2017, the Kherson National Technical University hosted a training session titled "Application of Computer Games in the Educational Process."

The first day of the training was dedicated to game-based learning and was conducted under the guidance of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V.G. Sherstyuk and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor M.V. Zharikova.

Participants were provided with detailed information on the principles and mechanisms of game-based learning, as well as the classification of games according to their educational value. The practical part was devoted to creating a creative game scenario for teaching students.

The second day of the training was focused on developing the participants' practical skills in creating creative game scenarios. During the training, each participant chose a discipline for game-based learning and created a game scenario under the guidance of Prof. V.G. Sherstyuk and Assoc. Prof. M.V. Zharikova.

The third day of the training was conducted under the guidance of Candidates of Technical Sciences, Associate Professors D.L. Kyryichuk and O.M. Lyashenko, and was dedicated to the development of a multiplayer computer game "Tanks" using Unity 3D.

At the beginning, participants were invited to add resources, models, and textures to the game project. Next, the participants created game objects and, using the C# language, developed a software module for the movement of 3D objects. At the end of the training, all those interested performed a build of the game project for the Windows OS.
