Training "Creative thinking, digital business solutions and investment attraction", KNTU, May 4-5, 2017.

On May 4-5, 2017, Kherson National Technical University hosted a training session titled "Creative Thinking, Digital Business Solutions, and Investment Attraction."
The two-day training was attended by 18 lecturers and staff members from the departments of "Management and Marketing," "Design," "Higher Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling," "Information Technologies," "Informatics and Computer Sciences," and "Technical Cybernetics" of KNTU, as well as representatives from the employment center.

IMG_0193The series of training sessions was opened with introductory remarks by Ph.D., Associate Professor T.V. Malomuzh.
The training began with a presentation by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V.G. Sherstyuk on "Creative Thinking, Creativity, and Active Learning."
The training participants took the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking, studied the organization of the creative process, innovations, methods for activating creativity, models of creative thinking, and the specifics of applying active learning methods. In addition, the participants solved simple tasks to find creative solutions.
Next, the participants were offered a master class by Ph.D. in Economics, Assistant G.V. Zhosan and Assistant O.O. Shvets on the topic "Methods for Developing Creative Thinking."
On the second day, the participants attended a presentation on "Modern Methods of Attracting Investment," led by Ph.D. in Economics, Assistant G.V. Zhosan and Assistant O.O. Shvets, who covered the ways to find investors in great detail. During the practical part of the training, the participants built an investment project map for their product using an original methodology proposed by the trainers.

In the second part of the training, Ph.D., Associate Professor M.V. Zharikova conducted a master class on the topic "Application of the SCAMPER Method for Generating New Ideas." The participants learned about the features of divergent thinking and applied the techniques and tools of the SCAMPER method to invent alternative ways of using their innovative products.
The team of trainers thanks all participants for their activity and friendly intellectual atmosphere, and expresses hope that the skills and knowledge acquired during the training will help them teach students creativity and innovative approaches by applying active learning methods.
