From May 18 to 19, 2017, the Kherson National Technical University hosted a training session titled "Computer Game Development in Unity 3D".
18 lecturers and staff members from the departments of "Information Technologies", "Informatics and Computer Sciences", and "Technical Cybernetics" of KNTU took part in the two-day training.
On the first day of the training, which was led by Ph.D., Associate Professor O.M. Lyashenko, participants were invited to take the Bartle test, with the help of which each of those present determined their gaming psychotype.
The training participants also familiarized themselves with the main features and advantages of using Unity 3D for game application development and gained skills in working with the Unity 3D interface and tool environment during the practical part of the training.

The second day of the training was led by Ph.D., Associate Professor D.L. Kyryichuk and proved to be very rich in useful practical information on developing game applications in Unity 3D.
During the practical part of the training, participants learned about the properties and methods of working with basic 3D objects, the technology of modeling physical properties of rigid bodies, and worked with light and cameras. They gained skills in programming the movement of 3D objects in C# and developed a text interface for the game. At the end, participants were invited to build the project for the Windows OS.
