On May 11-12, 2017, the Kherson National Technical University hosted a training session titled "Marketing, Distribution, and Monetization of Computer Games."
12 lecturers and staff members from the departments of "Management and Marketing," "Design," "Information Technologies," "Informatics and Computer Sciences," and "Technical Cybernetics" of KNTU, as well as representatives of the employment center, took part in the two-day training.
On the first day of the training, under the guidance of Ph.D., Assistant G.V. Zhosan and Assistant O.O. Shvets, the participants learned about:
– basic principles of describing a target audience;
– main existing characteristics for describing a target audience.
Also, during the practical part of the training, the participants worked in teams to build a Value Proposition Canvas for their product and a business model canvas with a detailed description of all components of their chosen model.

On the second day of the training, the participants listened to a report by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V.H. Sherstiuk on "Marketing of Computer Games and Digital Business Solutions," and learned about modern methods and tools of Internet marketing, the specifics of promoting computer games and digital business solutions in the market, and methods and tools for monetization.
Next, Ph.D., Associate Professor M.V. Zharikova held a master class on "Competitor Analysis." The participants listened to educational material about modern methods and tools for competitor analysis using the capabilities of the Internet and social networks, and then completed a task on analyzing competitors for their innovative product, which concluded with a SWOT analysis.
The team of trainers thanks all participants of the training for their active participation, friendly atmosphere, and diligent completion of tasks. We hope that the skills and knowledge acquired during the training will help the participants teach students effectively and in line with modern requirements.
