Series of local trainings at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, 2017.

IF_2017_2Over the past few months, as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project 561728-EPP-1-2015-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “GameHub: University-Enterprises Cooperation in Game Industry in Ukraine”, a series of local trainings for faculty members of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science and the Department of Management and Business Administration was held at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
The training topics were devoted to various elements of computer game development, namely: “Features of using the ‘Sprite Kit’ framework for iOS game programming”, “Game development project management”, “Creative thinking”, “Building a business model for developing creative thinking in the gaming industry”, and “Game development in Cocos2Dx”.

The trainings were conducted by associate professors of the Department of Computer Science Vitalii Horelov, Viktor Rovinskyi, and Yurii Iliash, as well as the Head of the Department of Management and Business Administration, Professor Valentyna Yakubiv, and assistant of the department Viktoriia Yavorska. All trainers completed a series of trainings organized by the project's European partners. University faculty and students had the opportunity to learn about interesting practices, methodologies, and ideas used by the project's European partners in the field of computer game development, which will be implemented at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University as part of the project. More than 80 participants took part in the trainings.
