The "GameHub" project was presented at the seminar "Training of specialists in the field of the gaming industry," which took place at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture on May 24, 2016.
The seminar was aimed at presenting and promoting the international project "GameHub: University-Enterprise Cooperation in the Game Industry in Ukraine" (Capacity Building in Higher Education 56128-EPP-1-2015-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP), which is being implemented within the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 projects for cooperation for innovation and the exchange of best practices. KNUCA is a partner in an international consortium of thirteen scientific and expert institutions from Ukraine and the European Union that is implementing this project. Information from study visits of KNUCA representatives to the University of Deusto (Bilbao) and the AGH University of Science and Technology (Krakow) was presented at the seminar.
Among other things, the issues of creating an effective system of training and support for people who strive to realize themselves in the gaming industry, the specifics of computer game development and their promotion on the market, the use of highly specialized games, in particular in the field of medical rehabilitation, and the technical and conceptual aspects of creating a GameLab laboratory at our university, etc., were considered.
