111From June 29 to July 1, 2016, a working meeting and project monitoring took place at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 program project – Capacity Building in Higher Education No. 561728-EPP-1-2015-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “GameHub: University-enterprises cooperation in game industry in Ukraine”.

The participants of the event were representatives of a number of universities that are part of the project implementation Consortium, namely: the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain), the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, the Donetsk National Technical University, the Odessa National Polytechnic University, the Kherson National Technical University, and the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.

During the meeting, the university rector, Professor Ihor Tsependa, emphasized that participation in European projects is strategically important for the university, as these projects primarily provide an opportunity to revise and modernize programs or develop new ones, using the experience of European higher education institutions in accordance with the needs and requirements of the labor market.

Within the framework of the event program, preliminary results of the analysis of the gaming industry market in Ukraine were presented, and the strategy for further project implementation, its dissemination, sustainability, and quality were discussed.
