From April 22 to 26, representatives of the Ukrainian Association of IT Professionals took part in the project's first working training session. The consortium members were hosted by Masaryk University (MUNI) (Brno, Czech Republic).

The training participants were welcomed by the Rector of Masaryk University, Prof. MUDr. PhDr. Martin Bareš, and the Director of the Institute of Computer Science, Mgr. Jan Mysliveček, Ph.D. This was followed by an introduction of the Ukrainian university teams to the DigiUni project trainers from Masaryk University. During the training, participants discussed the pedagogical aspects of effective interactive online learning, familiarized themselves with the Hyflex teaching and learning model, and explored examples of its use for developing university distance learning programs.

The training participants visited the university's Faculty of Medicine Simulation Center, which is the most modern center in Central Europe. The center's staff demonstrated all its capabilities and conducted an interactive workshop, introducing the latest simulation-based teaching methodology. During the training, participants also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Masaryk University Information System, including practical tools for online learning, and to gain practical skills in working with the open Moodle system for creating educational content with virtual reality. Learning about the system for organizing inclusive education and online tutoring was extremely valuable.

The participants noted that all the information received from the Masaryk University team was interesting and useful, and the best practices will certainly be implemented during the development of content for the DigiPlatform (the DigiUni digital learning environment).
