On June 29, 2017, a round table on the ERASMUS+ project "GameHub: University-enterprises cooperation in game industry in Ukraine" was held as part of the meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Automation and Information Technologies. The round table was attended by heads and academic secretaries of all departments of the FAIT faculty. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of FAIT, I.V. Rusan. The project curator from KNUCA, Deputy Dean of FAIT, O.O. Terentiev, delivered a report.
During the event, members of the Academic Council were informed about the results of local training sessions for university lecturers held in April of this year, as well as the progress of equipment procurement and the ensuring of the operation of the GameLab gaming laboratory created at the Information and Computing Center. The main issues discussed during the round table were the development of curricula in which it is planned to introduce disciplines related to the gaming industry, as well as the progress of developing course catalogs and relevant modules, in accordance with the previously approved structure.
