At the Global Game Jam Ukraine, which took place on January 20–22, 2017, a Kyiv team consisting of representatives from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture won second place. The students won tickets to the White Nights Prague '17 game industry business conference, the Game Industry Conference, and Casual Connect.
