GameHub Trainings, NTU "KhPI", December 12-16, 2016

An educational wave, one might say a "tsunami," has swept across Ukraine as part of the Erasmus+ GameHub project. A series of cross-trainings with the participation of European partners took place at Kherson National Technical University, Odessa National Polytechnic University, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, and Precarpathian National University, and finally – Kharkiv Polytechnic!

Two rounds of training took place at NTU "KhPI":

The "GameDevelopment" training for university lecturers was conducted by specialists from Fundación Virtualware Labs (University of Deusto, Spain) on December 12-13, 2016. Two days of intensive online work and genuine interest in the training content – a special tool for developing 2D and 3D games, Unity.

The "GameBasedLearning" training for lecturers from Ukrainian partner universities, including lecturers from our university, took place on December 15-16, 2016. These trainings were conducted by lecturers from the University of Graz (Austria) and were dedicated to the use of gaming technologies and approaches in the educational process. Productive group work allowed lecturers from the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute," Odessa National Polytechnic University, and Kherson National Technical University to combine their intellectual potential and experience to master the training content, in order to apply their knowledge in practice in the future.
