ONPU_2017_7On December 7-8, 2017, the 3rd and 4th days of the seminar for ONPU lecturers "Designing educational computer games as a form of active student learning" were held in the classrooms of the Faculty of Humanities of Odessa National Polytechnic University within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project "GameHub: university-enterprise cooperation in the game industry in Ukraine" (561728-EPP-1-2015-1- ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).

As in previous days, the seminar was attended by lecturers from the Department of Document Science and Information Activity, the Department of Philosophy and Methodology of Science, the Department of Psychology and Social Work, the Department of Cultural Studies and Art History, the Department of Information Systems, the Department of History and Ethnography of Ukraine, as well as a representative of the Odessa Regional Humanitarian Center for Extracurricular Education and Upbringing.

Trainer T.A. Luhova, Associate Professor of the Department of Document Science and Information Activity, presented presentations on the following topics:
1) features of game level design construction;
2) principles of level design in higher education teaching methodology;
3) level design and social aspects of the game;
4) features of game project documentation: design document, offer agreement, or proposal document;
5) concept and types of game prototyping, prototyping tools.

As in previous days, after the presentations, team work was carried out to prepare parts of the Game Design Document. As a result of the work performed, the teams prepared documents sufficient to move on to the technical part of the seminar, which will be discussed later.
